On October 20, 2026 IDP Pharma reported that the first patient has been dosed in MYCROCYTIC, a multicentre Phase Ib/II study evaluating IDP-121 in combination with standard-of-care chemotherapy in patients with relapsed small cell lung cancer (SCLC).

IDP-121 is an investigational peptide therapeutic designed to directly inhibit MYC and promote its degradation. Discovered using the company’s proprietary Intrametrics platform, it targets a protein implicated in tumour proliferation, cellular plasticity and treatment resistance.
The study is expected to enrol approximately 60 patients across nine centres in Spain. It will evaluate IDP-121 in combination with topotecan in patients with platinum-refractory or resistant disease, and with platinum rechallenge in patients with platinum-sensitive disease. The primary objectives are to assess safety and tolerability and establish preliminary clinical proof-of-concept.
MYCROCYTIC expands the clinical development of IDP-121 into solid tumours following completion of CASSANDRA, its first-in-human Phase I programme in relapsed or refractory haematological malignancies.
"This study represents an important milestone in the evolution of our clinical pipeline and reflects our strategy of translating breakthrough science into medicines for patients with high unmet medical need," said Dr. Santiago Esteban, Chief Executive Officer of IDP Pharma.
IDP Pharma thanks the patients, their families and the participating clinical teams for their contribution to this research.
