Through the collaboration, clients can now access Vipergen’s DEL screening capabilities alongside Domainex’s expertise in assay development, biophysics, medicinal chemistry, and integrated discovery services – providing a seamless, end-to-end solution from hit identification to validated leads.
A first client case study has already shown the partnership in action: Vipergen’s DEL screening platform identified novel molecular glue hits, and Domainex independently confirmed them through complementary biophysics and assay development work.
"This collaboration expands the range of hit and lead discovery solutions available to our clients by combining Vipergen’s unique DEL screening technology with Domainex’s established fragment-based and high-throughput screening (HTS) approaches, as well as our assay development, biophysics, and medicinal chemistry expertise. Together, we can help partners identify, validate, and progress high-quality starting points for their drug discovery programmes," said Dr Hayley French, CEO of Domainex.
"We are thrilled to partner with Domainex, whose broad and complementary drug discovery capabilities make them an ideal partner for Vipergen. This collaboration allows us to offer clients a truly integrated path from DEL screening hits to optimised leads – combining the unique advantages of our cell-based and in vitro DEL platforms with Domainex’s world-class assay and medicinal chemistry expertise," said Dr Nils Hansen, CEO of Vipergen.
Together, the two companies provide a complementary suite of technologies and expertise designed to streamline the transition from hit identification to validated lead series, helping accelerate early-stage drug discovery programmes.
